Ahmad Massoud was born in 1991 in Kabul in Afghanistan and he graduated from high school in 2011.
His interest in photography started in 2009 when he attended a training course in photography soon followed by a master class photojournalism training course with UNAMA (United Nation Assistance Mission for Afghanistan) conducted by world famous photojournalist Tim Page.
Massoud has been working for four years as contract photographer with Associated Press News Agency.
Massoud is presently working as chief photographer at the Xinhua Chinese News Agency, and beside that he is working with both international and national agencies and media clients like The New York Times, USAID, Barcroft Media, Norwegian News Agency, Afghan newspapers and many others.
Massoud is one of the founders of and deputy manager at Afghan Eyes Photo Agency.
He work has been shown in Afghanistan and throughout the world.
Massoud has one plan for the future and that is to become a famous photographer not only to serve his own country but also the entire world.
